Comment Policy

Dear readers,

Tanjeesay.com has a stringent comments policy. We believe in freedom of speech, but commenters who breach our rules are more than welcome to exercise their free speech elsewhere on Facebook or the Internet. We don’t wish to censor them there. Commenters should not assume that they can get away with whatever they want to say on account of their ‘freedom of speech’.

1. We welcome constructive scrutiny of our views and posts but may deal with off-topic, diversionary or trollish comments.

2. We reserve the right to delete comments deemed abusive or troll-like in our space. We are not obliged to provide space for commenter to abuse others or throw vitriol.

3. We will delete abusive, sarcastic, troll-ish (aimed at writers or other commenters), misogynist, racist, homophobic and xenophobic comments.

4. You are welcome to write a complaint to us at info@tanjeesay.com. We may get back to you but we are under no obligation to.
