Dear friends,

We have come to our final leg of the campaign and we sincerely thank you for your wholeHEARTed support all these while!

Cooling-off period will start at 000hrs sharp on 26th August 2011, and with compliance to the regulations in place, the official campaign machinery for Mr Tan Jee Say, HEART of the Nation, will thus cease all our public campaigning activities online and offline.

BUT, this doesn’t mean that YOU, as a Singaporean, cannot continue to Spread-the-Word, privately of course!

So from now till Polling Day 27th August 2011, go forth and continue to SPREAD-THE-WORD, and touch the HEARTs of the people all around you.

Let them know beyond any doubt that Mr Tan Jee Say IS the HEART of the Nation! Put your words AND your votes into action for a new day in Singapore, a day filled with HEART!

  5. Dear Mr Tan
I was deeply troubled today after reading the local newspaper about PE2011, especially the last-minute attacks before Cooling Off Day. TJS has been portrayed as confrontational and divisive but many failed to see David, the Goliath slayer in him and that an independent, firm and clear stand on values was needed just the way David stood against Goliath.
So this evening I decided to take a walk around the New Parliament Building, the Old Parliament House, the New Supreme Court and the St Andrews Cathedral. I asked God what qualities to look out for in a President and who His servant leader will be.
As I walked along the narrow Supreme Court Lane which links all these 4 buildings, a TJS campaign poster at Adelphi Building confronted me. It was facing the Cathedral. I was delighted because TJS has God’s blessing and He has made His face to shine upon TJS.
As I walked further along the Lane, more TJS posters can be found along the New Supreme Court and the Old Parliament House. I was pleased because a truly independent and fearless voice is needed to uphold Justice in Singapore where often the law is used to intimidate rather than to protect its citizens, especially those with alternate political views. The Old Parliament House is a reminder of the original democracy we had inherited from the British with a system of checks and balances where the executive, legislative and judicial branches are truly separate and independent, and which we should try to emulate.
At the end of the Lane, the last standing TJS poster stood facing the New Parliament Building. The Building will usher in a new Presidency with a heart/conscience of the nation and with a love language (which is more than just a voice of the people) to restore, rebuild, reconcile and re-unite Singapore. I was satisfied and decided to head home by catching a bus at Bras Basah Road.
As I walked along the broad North Bridge Road, many TT posters lined the pavement outside the Cathedral. I was troubled but then I remembered that wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction but small is the gate and narrow the lane that leads to life. Further down the Road at SMU was a TCB banner and at Bras Basah Road near the former NTUC Income building stood a solitary TKL poster.
God has also ordained the results i.e. TJS, TT, TCB and TKL. Truly Jesus Saves will win.
Best wishes and Shalom, 1 Cor 2:9

All the best to you today!

My family and I will cast our votes. We will not able to see the polling results.

Nevertheless, when you become the President, I am looking that you will exercise your MORAL AUTHORITY wisely and with a HEART and turn Singapore from a “SIN” city to a “Sin- lesser” city

May the FORCE (on High) be with you!

Send my luv n hugs to your loving wife and delightful children!

Let’s reclaim Singapore for the true blue SINGAPOREANS, our future n out next generations!

  7. Mr Tan Jee Say will continue the legacy of the late President Ong Teng Cheong. Please vote for TSJ. Your vote is a vote for your future, and that of your children’s.

  8. Dear Mr Tan, my family and I have all voted for you. Together with my very close friends, you have a total of 10 votes from us. 10 votes may not mean much in light of the 3 million votes but it is our voice in saying that we need check and balance in the system. All the best, Mr Tan! We are awaiting the results tonight with abated breath

  10. Dear Mr Tan
You have fought the good fight. Your Heart/Conscience of the Nation message is clear to me and a good number of my friends. Your vote count is significant considering that you are new to the political scene and the 2 leading candidates are veterans of the only ruling political party Singapore has ever had. I hope others will soon understand your message, not think that you are tearing things apart and give you more support in the near future. The 2 leading candidates are in their 70s and may not serve for long. Your message will probably cause them to rethink and re-examine themselves and their values. Man proposes but God disposes. The hot will eventually win over the cold and the lukewarm.
Best wishes and Shalom, 1 Cor 2:9

  11. Hi Mr Tan,

I have been following closely on both the GE and PE where you stood for election. I agreed that you fought hard and well. But I have a few thoughts that I hope you would consider for future please.

    1) You do not think you came across as confrontational – This is something that a lot of people failed to see within themselves. You did sound, behave and react confrontational in the beginning of the race. It was perfectly alright to ask and challenge, but in a tone which had been harsh, arrogant, and inciting will never go down well with the public. You opponents kept their cool and that gave them the upper hand.

    2) I believe you will stand for the next GE again. It will be good for all Singaporean to have another voice. A suggestion will be to be part of the camp of Nicole Seah. That will give you both added advantage. You might wish to change strategy also to appear more mellow in speech and behavior. That will go down well with citizens.

Once again, I thank you for your attention in reading this message and stand up for all Singaporeans. Wishing you and family all the best.
